Welcome to the special Kees Goslinga Trophy page
The St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Club will dedicate a special
trophy, the KEES GOSLINGA trophy, to the most beautiful restored yacht
participating in the regatta.
Kees was one of the volunteers who worked in the regatta organization as from day one and was also an advisory board member.
Kees was a teacher at Milton Peters college in St.Maarten and specialized in woodwork.
He made his own wooden sailboat and helped out with his advice and skills, not only during the classic regatta but all over the Island.
He passed away in Sint Maarten and will be greatly missed.
