REGATTA PROGRAM

Thursday January 22, 2009

Registration day from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm in the temporary regatta office at Bobby's Marina. ( Located IN the yard in two containers previously owned by the Coast Guard )

Skippers briefing at 6.30 pm in the Green House at Bobby's Marina followed by the official openings ceremony and welcome party.
Free drinks and snacks for all registered Captains and Crew + Invited Guests from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm offered by DHL

Friday January 23, 2009

First race day with start not before 10.00 am in Great Bay.
Free coffee offered by Smitt and Dorlas St.Maarten from 8.00 am until 10.00 am at the Greenhouse dinghy dock.
Race to Marigot with finish in the bay.
Free dockage for participants (subject to availability).
Free Drinks available after the regatta for all registered Captains and Crew on the dock.
Please be aware that normally you need to clear in at Fort Louis Marina as this is on the French side. You can also clear out one time and all this in the marina office upstairs.

Saturday January 24, 2009

Second race day with start not before 9.00 am in Marigot and finish in Great Bay Philipsburg.
Free coffee will be available on the dock of Fort Louis Marina offered by Smitt and Dorlas St.Maarten.

FREE Beach Buffet for all registered Captains, Crew, Owners, Press and invited guests as from 1.00 pm (strictly invitation only) in front of Passangrahan Hotel.
The bar at the passangrahan hotel is open ( you have to pay for drinks here ) and you will need to pick up your identifiacation for the barbecue at the regatta desk in front of the bar.

Saturday evening all bars and restaurants on the boardwalk at Great Bay are open, we have no special party going on here.

Sunday January 25, 2009

Third race day with start not before 10.00 am in Great Bay and finish again in Great Bay around 4.00 pm.

free coffee will be available at the Greenhouse dinghy dock offered again by smitt and dorlas St.Maarten.

Sunday evening Award giving ceremony starts at 6.00 pm with live band.
price giving party at The Green House Bar and Restaurant in Bobby's Marina, Great Bay.
A la Carte restaurant available for everyone and party.
Closing around midnight
