Marinas

St.Maarten / St.Martin has over 12 marinas all over the Island.
Most of the marinas offer a lot of services and facilities for all kind of boats.

Isle de Sol (Dutch side)

This Marina can handle the largest boats and is located in a calm corner of the lagoon. Marina services:

Dockage: slips range from 80' to 360'.
Electricity: 220, 380, 480 single or 3 phase power.
Water: Prefiltered water
Fuel: All fuel services
Services & Facilities: 2 telephone/fax lines, satellite TV. Rental Car agency, crew bar and restaurant, chandlery, pool, heated Jacuzzi, Gated and secured entrance with private bridge leading to slips.

Yacht Club Port De Plaisance (Dutch side)
Mega yacht facility managed by the same people as Ile De Sol Marina.

Hot Tomatoes Marina (Dutch side)
Marina in Simpson Bay close to the Airport.

Palapa Marina (Dutch side)

This Marina is also located in the lagoon and close to the Airport.
The marina is mostly used by big sail yachts and is home to the St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Regatta.
Palapa Marina is a popular meeting place with several shops, bars and restaurants.
A very popular crew bar is the Soggy Dollar bar.

Dockage: 22 boats to 100 ft.
Electricity: 110/ 220 Volt, 3 phase available.
Water: Measured according to usage
Fuel: fueling at every slip
Services and Facilities: Cable TV and telephone, showers, ice, laundry, propane, security, day workers, car rental, ships agent, yacht brokerage, yacht crew bar.
Palapa center is also host of the Maritime School of the West Indies, the Caribbean’s only official recognized school by the government of the Netherlands Antilles where you can follow MCA recognized STCW’95 courses, IYT Yachtmaster Coastal, Offshore and Ocean courses, the Caribbean Cruising Certificate and many other sail, navigation and marine related  courses.

Simpson Bay Marina (Dutch side)

This marina is not far from the airport and located on the lagoon. Simpson Bay Yacht Club Marina offers a wide variety of services to the yachting community and meets the needs of many kinds of boats.

Dockage: 120 slips
Electricity: 3-phase & 100 amps single phase, 50 amps/ 220 volt, & 30 amps/ 110 volt.
Water: Metered
Fuel: Full-service marina-operated fuel dock.
Services & Facilities: Channel pilot for arrival and departure, onboard telephone hook-up, wireless internet, 24-hour security, showers, laundry and dry cleaning, provisioning, swimming pool, very well know restaurant and pool bar (http://www.jimboscafe.com), business center, boat cleaning, Car rental, boat charters.
Technical Services: sailmakers, refrigeration, generator, electrical, air conditioning, rigging, repairs and maintenance, chandlery, yacht brokerage.

Bobby's Marina, Great bay Marina (Dutch side)
Located in the Northeastern corner of Great bay, close to Philipsburg.

Bobby's Marina:

Dockage: 30 vessels in the water, 110 vessels on land.
Electricity: 110 V, $5 per day
Water: Metered, 10 cents per gallon
Fuel: Daily station service
Services and Facilities: showers, toilet facilities, 24-hour security, cable television.
Technical Services: Boat painting and repairs, storm bracing.

Great Bay Marina ( renamed Dock Maarten ) (Dutch side)

Dockage: 42 slips, maximum size 60'  and new Mega Yacht marina soon under construction.
Electricity: 110 V & 220 V
Water: Metered
Services and Facilities: Storage lockers, service desk, international telephone and fax lines, mail and message center, Chesterfield restaurant, Reggie Café, marine supply nearby.
Day charter boat activities and Rapid Explorer ferry to St.Barth’s.

Captain Oliver's Marina: (French Side)

This marina is a perfect place to visit and spend a few evenings enjoying the environment of Oyster Pond. (Border Dutch and French side)
Restaurant Captain Oliver’s is well know and has a nice setting.
Dockage: a few moorings and 160 places at the dock.
Electricity: 110 & 220 Volt available. 380 V for larger boats.
Water: Metered
Fuel: Service station on the dock
Services and Facilities: Showers, ice, laundry, car rentals, hotel, restaurant, two crew bars, day trips.

Marina Port La Royale (French side):

This small marina is located on the waterfront in Marigot and surrounded by restaurants and shops.
It is a popular spot for tourists as well as sailors.
Dockage: 40 spaces, size limit 15 m.
Electricity: 220 V and 9 connections at 110 V
Water: Measured according to usage
Services and Facilities: Showers, restrooms, washing machines, ice, reservations.

Marina Fort Louis (French side):

The newest marina on the French side opened in August 2002.
This marina has direct access to the sea.
Dockage: 185 boats and space for 14 mega yachts
Electricity: 110V, 220V, 3 phase, 380 Max 100A metered.
Water: Metered
Fuel: On request
Services and Facilities: 24-hours security, wireless telephone line, channel pilot for arrival and departure, Internet access, restaurant and luxury shopping, showers, laundry service, ice, provisioning, florist, car rental, taxi service, technical services.

Port De Lonvilliers Marina Anse Marcel (French Side)

Small marina in the cove of Anse Marcel.
Opening hours 8 to 12 am and 2 to 6 pm seven days a week all year long.
Location: on the north end of St. Martin, FWI 63° 10' West 18° 05' North
Docking Spaces: 130 for boats up to 120' maximum length
Water Depth: About 10 feet according to the tide level
Facilities: Mechanics, Electronics, Hotels and Restaurants, Sport center (tennis, squash, bodybuilding. . .) Watersports, Car rentals, Taxis, Boutiques…
